Our Youth shields are 21″ punch-grip rounds, with a shallow center boss, finished in faux leather or wood, and a copper or silver edge. The finished surface is paint-able! So feel free to customize with your own symbol or design using simple craft acrylics. 🙂
Sized for kids ages 8-15, our youth shields are intended for the youth rules with medium-to-light-contact play, but are still made at the full-contact standard for safety and longevity.
Youth shields are $120 alone, or $155 for a bat-and-board kit.
Youth bats are standard 6-8 ounce bats, legal for the 14 and over medium contact game, Amtgard.
